Ember: a flow-to-restore practice for winter

Ember: a flow-to-restore practice for winter

"As if in each of usThere once was a fireAnd for some of usThere seem as if there are only ashes nowBut when we dig in the ashesWe find one emberAnd very gently we fan that emberBlow on itIt gets brighterAnd from that ember we rebuild the fire"- Ram Dass

This time of year can feel confronting. It's cold outside, and the trees are bare, our spark within might be dimmed. It can be tempting to push through and towards brighter days, but maybe we should let winter happen instead of trying to cultivate spring intentions or step out into the world like it's summer.Maybe we should just be wintering: tending to the soft glow of the ember within.

Join us for a flow-to-restore workshop to stoke our inner glow, nurture ourselves through movement and pranayama, and wind down with yoga nidra (yogic sleep). A heartwarming focused practice to reawaken your inner connection, with guided moving meditation to embrace that inner heat and let it radiate through the body in rest and recuperation. This workshop is a few hours out of your day to find some balance, offer yourself a conscious time in community, and tend to your fire within.

When: Saturday 24th February 2024
