With a background in a broad range of artistic explorations, including fine art, film, music, movement and sports, Tamara facilitates an energetic, explorative environment for the performer to create with their body. To use physical exploration to build on the world of the creative piece, whilst leaving space for experimentation, how stories can be told through physical representation as well as bringing together different mediums of art.
She brings her embodied knowledge of artistic exploration, anatomy, and creativity to different environments of work. From close collaboration with directors, performers, actors and artists, she uses movement to build on the expressivity that the body holds and portrays.
Tamara has worked across a range of projects, bringing to life the physical language of artistic projects. She has experience as movement director in theatre and film settings, working on plays and devising performances. Movement directing and collaborating on creative photoshoots in fashion, lifestyle and artistic photography. Tamara has more than 6 years teaching experience, which she has evolved and refined her methodology to facilitate and support the performer. Creating a comfortable space in which the physicality of character, movement expression and story telling can be explored and skills can be built.
